High Current Technologies, Inc. was formed in 1995 to provide calibration and support for unique high current measurements not readily available from other calibration laboratories. HCT supports industries such as automotive, power, medical, welding, calibration, and defense.  Its laboratory is recognized as having unique staff, measurement standards, and capabilities in support of these industries.  All calibrations are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology and are ISO Guide 25 compliant. HCT also supports measurements for industrial processes other than electrical current. In addition, HCT manufactures unique custom and standard measurement equipment for the above applications which are not commonly available.  Training and consulting services are available to help you solve your most difficult measurement and calibration problems. HCT has been a member of the National Conference of Standards Laboratories since 1995. Companies need calibration equipment to meet the stringent requirements of ISO900X and QS9000 standards, the government, and internal company quality programs.  In the past this meant large capital investment in specialized calibration standards.  After the investment, the standards might only be used a few times each year.  Additional overhead cost was incurred to maintain trained and qualified technical staff to perform the tests and calibrations.  

These large investments are no longer necessary.  Many of your high current and specialized measurement needs can now be obtained at reasonable costs and with reliable results by the experts at High Current Technologies, Inc. HCT also operates independent of equipment manufacturers and can provide its services without bias to any organization.

The equipment sold by HCT was either not available in industry or was determined as necessary to improve measurement uncertainty (accuracy) for our customers.  The equipment is many times also used to improve or enhance NIST traceability of measurements from calibration laboratories to a factory floor.
